• The Executive Committee officers are composed of seven brothers who contributed their time and blood for Mu-Iota Chapter. They are responsible for various aspects within the Mu-Iota Chapter. The specific descriptions of each position can be found below.

    The Grand Master serves as the President of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Gallaudet University. As the chief executive officer, he represents the chapter both internally and externally. He is charged with not only maintaining relations with the chapter, but also communicating with the university, Interfraternity council, alumni, and the national office. The Grand Master has the final authority in all chapter operations.

    The Grand Procurator serves as the Vice President of Administration. He is responsible for the well being of the chapter by overseeing scholarship, risk management, chapter by-laws, discipline, and house maintenance. The Grand Procurator supervises the positions of House Manager, Scholarship Chairman and fire marshal. In the absence of the Grand Master, the Grand Procurator is the presiding chapter officer.

    The Grand Master of Ceremonies serves as the Vice President of Brotherhood Development. He is responsible for all the rituals and secret work of the Order. In addition, he is responsible for ritual education, ritual certification, ritual equipment upkeep, and preparing the pledges for initiation through pledge development program. The Grand Master of Ceremonies also oversees the educational programs used for brotherhood development, including Brothers In Action.

    The Grand Treasurer serves as the Vice President of Finance. He oversees the chapter budget, all collection of dues and social assessments, and all chapter expenses. The Grand Treasurer advises the Grand Master in all areas of chapter finances and plays a key role in deciding the financial priorities of the chapter and prepares the chapter budget for chapter approval. The Grand Treasurer oversees the positions of Assistant Grand Treasurer, Intramural Chairman, and Social Chairman. The Grand Treasurer serves on all chapter committees involving the use of chapter funds.

    The Grand Scribe is the Vice President of Public Relations. He is responsible for all paperwork within the chapter, recording pledges and initiates, minutes of the chapter, and all chapter correspondences. The Grand Scribe also supervises the production of newsletters, annual reports, and the chapter website. The Grand Scribe oversees the position of Assistant Grand Scribe.
